Sesshin is an intensive training period dedicated to directly experiencing our true nature through deep meditation and embodying that experience so we can maintain it in the complexity of our lives.

This small group meditation retreat is structured around the three axis practice: depth of awakening, degree of liberation, and breadth of integration.

The first 3 full days will be a descent into silence; attuning to, and investigating our true nature through deep meditation. Days 4 & 5 will open up daisan, 1:1 conversations with Umi, and additional time for dharma discussion that focuses on living with Integrity as this profound truth, while maintaining essential silence.

On the final full day, we will exit silence to spend time in small groups discussing where in our life we embody, and have yet to embody, this depth of Integrity. Together, we will ensure that our deepened insight returns to the market place.
